Assertion error, objcreature.cpp 10806
« on: May 06, 2007, 02:29:38 AM »
First area in the city of baldur's gate where elminster talks, works fine. When I go next area to north game crashes to desktop and shows an errormessage assertion failed d:\dev\baldur\objcreature.cpp line 10806. Any ideas how to fix this?

Not really, since it does not happen in my game. Do you have other mods installed?

Fields of the dead of course and Apprentice-Mage Yovaneth's Original Saga Scripts but I doubt that is the cause.

No, that seems unlikely. I am afraid the only option left is re-installing the mod, annoying though it is.

Do not bother re-installing the mod. I was looking at the wrong installation earlier and the area does crash. Somehow an ITM reference in Marek's CRE file has been corrupted. Extract the contents of http://mods.pocketplane.net/FotDv107Fix1.rar and you should be able to proceed to the Blushing Mermaid area.
