Merging D0Tweaks and BG2 Tweaks ?
« on: February 04, 2007, 06:15:26 AM »
Hello SimDing0!

I and some others here (http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showtopic=9320&pid=78174&mode=threaded&show=&st=0&#entry78174) were fantasizing about a possible merge between your and G3's Tweak Packs.

It makes not much sense and create also lots of confusion to have different Tweak Packs distributed by different communities.

At today we have BG2 Tweak Pack, D0Tweaks, the_bigg's Tweaks, BGT Tweaks only to name the most important ones.

Wouldn't it be good to pull the strings and aim for a complete, unified package ?

Thanks for your attention, Sim!

And thanks for all your hard work!

If Cam wanted to merge in TB#Tweaks, I'd be happy to contribute it - it has a couple of things that need to be done and I can't get bothered to do, so a mod merger would be a good occasion to do so. Unfortunately, a number of my fixes would require use of CLUA console on part of the user to work around certain problems (with little chance of this being fixed), and I'm sure this is unacceptable to G3 standards.

As for Sim, he has too much pride in his work to allow anybody else near it  ;D

I'm quite content to throw everything in D0Tweak at Cam, but I don't think he'd be particularly excited about, say, having to fix up the Walking Speeds component. (Hahahahahaha.)

Nah, that's ok - everyone could reach some agreement (like I get some university classes in programming and start helping out instead of begging :D)

You don't need. I actually went into CS because I liked programming in tp2, rather than getting into tp2 programming because of a CS background - my first year in Uni I was studying Maths.

@SimDing0: As long as we're at it, would you mind if the Tutufix components not incorporated in EasyTutu were merged into a combined Tweak pack?  The base Tutufix would still apply to those using Tutu v4.
