Tutufix multilanguage not supported ?
« on: January 09, 2007, 04:08:34 PM »
Hi

After installing the patch Tutufix v17 I noticed it had updated all the weapons descriptions in english.
Is there a Tutufix v17 or older versions with french support ?

Thank you.

I want to say the french translation is missing in the v17

Choose your language :
[English]
[Polish]
[French]  <--- missing

I will be glad if someone can help me to upload the v15.
Thank you in advance

No one has translated the latest Tutufix to French (not that I know of anyway).  If there is an older version with a French translation, it should not be too hard to update it (unless there were a lot of entries added).  If you were interested, you would probably start off looking at the old french/tutufix.tra and comparing it to the english/tutufix.tra and translating the new entries or updating old ones.

It looks like the Tutufix Polish translation is not complete, so it uses the English translations for most of the entries.  If you look in your game folder under tutufix\translations\polish\tutufix.tra and compare it to the tutufix\translations\english\tutufix.tra file, you'll see what I'm talking about.  Someone would have to translate the remaining entries in the English file to Polish. :o

You're right, most inventory is in english but potions, arrows, books etc. are in polish.

I have one question more.
All movies are installed, intro is launching but if i go to beregost or other location (where movies are launching), game wants 255 CD :o, and it hang up.
If i disable movies i can enter to all locations.
Anyone knows why this happen?

You might have a problem accessing certain movies as described in this thread.  If something got corrupted, you might want to make sure all your CDs are clean/unscratched and do a full/custom reinstall of BG1/BG2.  You might also want to check your drivers as described by Bioware.
