Well, as most of you know I've been away for quite some time.  I didn't mean to leave so abruptly but my life has been going full speed the last year and a bit (I'm now married and I have a three and a half month old daughter. :)).

At any rate, I still have the V6 source code and I'm going to try and put together a package so that BG1Tutu can be stable once and for all (with all fixes needed).

However, I have no idea what has happened with BG1Tutu in the past while.  I've perused some threads but I'm not still not 100% sure what's going on, heh.

What I also need is a list of what still needs to be fixed.

Now, bear in mind that I'm not going to be doing this overnight.  It may be months still before I have something out that's ready to go for the general public, but I thought I'd post here to let everyone know that I'm back and working (ableit at a slow pace).

Congratulations to you and Mrs japh. 

As for Tutu, yes the biggest thing that happened was the release of EasyTutu.  You'll want to talk to Macready about that.

Welcome back, Japh! :) Congratulations on the family, and I hope life's not too hectic.

The others have already mentioned Macready's EasyTutu, and there's little else to say other than add my voice to those saying it'd be worth you having a look at.

Okay, I had a look at EasyTutu and Sim has informed me that really the only thing missing were some overlay fixes for Durlag's Tower and a few other areas.

I have sent them off to him and that's it for now I guess. :)

That wouldn't happen to include Bereghost would it? Because Bereghost is really the only area where we still have random problems, and we just can't nail it down.

Perhaps you might be interested to know that the author of BGT-WeiDU (Ascension64) is actively working on a project (temporary name: Merger) which aims to release a third platform which condensates the best aspects of both TuTu and BGT.

He spoke of a possible release before the end of the year.  ;)

Well, not even I know, since I haven't been actively working on any merger yet. After next week is about the time, though, to start really thinking about it.
