Problem with questpack

Hi SimDing0,
i was installing questpack v2.3 for the first time and when it was doing the miscellaneous enhancements
component due to a power failure my PC got shut(Damn my UPS)......so on next reboot i re extracted the RAR file and tried to reinstall it. but now that Miscellaneous enhancements,Extended Reynald's Sequence,Rahul Kankia's Potion Quest,Burglary of the Bookkeeper,Infernal thievery do not install and these give this error message:

and the Dryads new fate gives this error and fails to install

i even tried removing all the mods installed and tried reinstalling them and some components like the Alternate Xzar...,Intrigue in copper Coronet got installed..but these do not install..

so i thought to play without these components...
but now the real problem is that THE BRIDGE DISTRICT is NOT LOADING... the load screen just goes
half and then keeps on trying to load it for an eternity....
this condition is worse as i currently have the Jan Return's to his former love Lissa..... where we have to save Lissa daughter(in 10 game days or she dies) and for that i need to go to bridge district....u know what i mean
i would not want that girl to die.................

so is there any way that i can correct this without having to reinstall the Huge(read Mega huge with all fixes and mods) to correct this.............PLZ HELP ME

guess since all this problem happened due to  a power failure that is why u guys would offer any help....

Unfortunately, that seems like the best bet... if no-one responded, it wasn't that you were being ignored (that doesn't happen around here ) - it is just that if you have a power failiure during install of any program, you are darned lucky not to have to restore your OS from backup, let alone a game. Your save might not be scrambled, so if you reinstall everything in exactly the same order you might get away with it. Unfortunately, you might not find out that the game is unfinishable only after sinking another few hours into it, so your best bet is definitely to reinstall from ground 0 (the original discs on up).

*Before* you uninstall, you might want to print out your WeiDU log, and then immediately delete it, together with the override folder.


You can use your WeiDU log as a template for reinstalling your mods. That way, they stay in the same order and you might be able to salvage your saved games.
