I'm always much more annoyed by Imoen's first dialog.

Really, my character would NOT wake up after being tortured and start a dialog about what's going on...

"Hey, thanks for getting that lock, Imoen.  Let's make like a tree and leaf!"  would be about the MOST I'd say in that situation.  Same thing with the stupid Jaheira and Minsc Dialogs.  "Cool, Jaheira, let's blow this popsickle stand!"  "You coming Minsc?  What you're bars are welded shut?  OK, I'll come back and get you when I find something to open 'em.  Wow, nice trick there.  Let's go!"

Seeing Khalid... um, then I guess I'd offer to gather the remains for proper burial.  Can't leave a husband in bits and eices on a dissecting table.

But this is Favorite lines...
How about when Xzar sees Montaron die (a typical occurance in my games, since I usually use him as "point" against the mage on the steps of the FAI).  "Montaron!  I... I never loved you."
If you aren't happy, it's not my fault.

"This is tedious. Let's just kill them!"

I wish there were more options such as this interspersed among those excessively long "dialogues" you can't get out of without hearing the other party (Elhan, for one) out to the bitter end.

I've always loathed the Elhan dialogue. By that time in the game, Charname would be able to lay waste to the entire nation of Tethyr should he or she be pleased to do so. I wish someone would make a mod to fix that. I don't mean I want to fight Elhan, I just want some dialogue options to make him shut his mouth and understand he's the one in the bitch position.

Quote
"(Imoen's face turns green and she coughs)"

- the fun part being that what plays is her death sound, in this circumstance sounding more like *barf*

What dialogue is this and why does she have such a reaction?
My characters are usually godlike at that time, so it would be quite easy to kill them all.

In relation to Ever-Wining Elven General, I recently discovered that E'-la-han (or E-lann) is Chinook Jargon for aid; assistance; alms. I still say "No thanks" to the Viconia-basher, though.

Just had one today that made me laugh.

Xan BG2 mod, after the pc just stumbled headlong into a trap: "This place shall be our tomb."

I know it's just a standard dungeon sound, but it was still funny.

“Know what I always say? ‘Always kill the mouthy one,’ that’s what I always say.”

I find it hard to resist that line even if I'm trying to RP a paladin. ;D

Nothing wrong with that! Heck, even a paladin could find the temptation to give a snappy response irresistable.

That line is good.

I usually pick that one.

Hey, if memory is correct, you're saying it to BODHI! Perfectly justified even for a paladin!  :D

It actually comes up as an option when responding to a trash-talking assassin outside the Cloakwood Mines in BG1. :)

Ah. Shows how my memory is!

Well..still.. against an assassin, it's still justifiable! :)

Or maybe I'd just make a bad paladin.

Anyway.. back ontopic!  ;D

I think the Bodhi option you're thinking of is, "I am SO sick of wordy opponents." Something like that, anyway.

Just discovered a good Minsc one:

(after spell interrupted)

Minsc: I lost my spell when I turned to shield Boo. I am NOT sorry.

Oooh, another great one from BG 1:

"OK, mr. psycho gnome, don't take this the wrong way, but we're really not interested in your rock garden."

If the occasion to say this in real life ever presents itself I'll die a happy man. ;D

just found a GREAT line  and had to put it. If you talk to a girl in the Slums she will ask Minsc if he is stupid. He responds by saying "Stupid is as stupid does. Or so says Boo." I found it funny. And if you do not know where that line is from...where have been for the past decade?

Under a rock, apparently.  :-[

I don't get the reference. But then, that isn't so unusual.

the line is from the movie Forest Gump. silly movie about a mentaly handicapped man who is telling his life story to anyone who will sit next to at the bus stop while he is waiting for his bus. some famous lines from the movie are "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gonna get." and "Stupid is as stupid does"

I have a guilty confession.

Some of my favorite lines are the ones that involve fourth wall breakage. I know it's a sin, but I like a little wink at the camera from time to time.

Brown Bear: Boo Boo I think I found a nice picnic basket!

LOL that was funny. just click the bear a few times and that line will pop up. found it in the Cloakwood Forest.

I was not aware of this line so I went to check on it. All black bears have a line that says: 'Hey, BooBoo. That's a nice pickinick basket.' Unfortunately the WAV for this line, BBEAR02.WAV, is not included.

found one loved today! started to bust up laughing when I heard it!
In BG1 when Coran gets to near death status he will yell out "It is only a flesh wound!"

and if any of you do not know where that line is from you have missed out on some great British humor. So please, if you do not know this line go watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail now! Or the Knights of Ni will come for you...

Always liked Xan a ton in the first BG.
His lines always cracked me up and he was always arguing with a lot of others like Elrond and Viconia.

One of the ones that I couldn't stop laughing at was from BG 1

Elrond that evil, slimy bard you pick up in the cloakwoods dies and Xan says:

"I would grieve for Elrond if it wasn't for the sudden JOY I now feel."

Always cracks me up when that happens.

Other good lines from BG1 that always made me laugh.

<montaron dies>
Xzar:  Montaron... I... I... *laughs as he speaks*  I never loved you.
---------------------------------

Minsc:  <to Shar'Teel> Boo does not like you... away with you.
Shar'Teel:  Hahahaha... you're so funny for a man... thats why I'm gonna kill you last.

So many others but those stick out presently that made me laugh.
