mpsave missing
« on: August 26, 2006, 11:55:39 AM »
I downloaded the Beta (1.33b19-1) and found, to my chagrin, that it has no idea about the mpsave directory.
If you aren't happy, it's not my fault.

Its been a while since I played an MP game, but IIRC the folder mpsave doesn't exist until you actually save a game. (at least I hope I remembering this from BG2 and not some other game with multiplayer ???

Yes, that's correct. And as far as I can remember, NI has never recognized the mpsave directory.

1.32 lets you read and edit MPsave

mpsave is the standard save dir for iwd's. So this isn't a small problem.

The dirlist is different for the different game types. ID editing specs mpsave (but not save), while BG is save and not mpsave.

It's one of the things I changed, and it will take Fred 5 seconds to change it once he comes back.
