how to play extracted media

Using WinBiff, I've somehow extracted some voices and map songs. However, my player won't play 'em. Is there something I'm missing here?

Because they are wavc's which are a slightly variant on the regular wav format.  If you extract the files using NI using it's 'extract and convert' feature, they'll play just fine.

Don't you need acm2wav or some such name for NI to be able to convert?
