You bet! Especially for my crazy guest! Seriously, Max created a little masterpiece. Looks like honey ice cream, too.

Some of TBH's screens show very familiar graphics. Did they just choose to close their eyes (provided they've seen it at all), or you've actually had to pay for copyrights?

What exactly are you trying to say?

Certainly not that you're stealing or something :)

Pieces like shelves, tables, barrels, etc. look like they were cutpasted from BG.

There are similarities in style but beyond that there is quite a difference.

Nope. The areas are all new and rendered to our specifications.

In any event, TBH's angle of projection is slightly different than the BG/BG2 games, so even if that had been done, it probably wouldn't look quite right.

Good to hear. :)
Will TBH, when it's released, run with Win 7?  Or failing that a Linux version would work too since I'll be partitioning my new system.  (I'll also be keeping the old box with XP on it to run IE games and older adventure games if I end up in trouble)

Well, the BG2's mods all work with Win 7(as long as you do the appropriate things), so TBH should work on it... if anything I think about the TBH is true.

I'm sure it's going to be amazing. Especially with Bigg's Widescreen mod!

Yes, it runs fine on Vista/7, although I'm not sure we've yet tested it on a heavily locked-down Vista/7 system. We have talked about some ways of dealing with UAC restrictions.

Occasionally we've seen that, for whatever reason, the default video card drivers on new systems aren't being "picked up" correctly by TBH, but upgrading to the latest ATI/Nvidia driver has always fixed it.

And I think Kulyok is teasing about a widescreen mod. Any arbitrary resolution works. 1024x768 is the official/recommended minimum, but the game is playable at 1024x600 (netbook) and, of course, anything higher.

Yes, Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7. (And x86 Linux and x86 Macintosh. There's a PPC Macintosh binary, in theory, but it doesn't perform especially well.)

We've been doing some internal critical path testing lately, which isn't the same as beta testing. (beta testing implies that the content is, for all intents and purposes, finished, and we're not there yet.)
