Ah, thanks for the chocolate and good wishes, all!

I dislocated my shoulder by tripping over some books and falling into a doorway.  Reading really does hurt, kids!

Oh wow. That really must have hurt.

That must be why so many great and wonderful leaders issued the burning of books.

Take care of that shoulder and keep things off the floor!

Hey, I know what will make you feel better!  Genius over here had to spend an entire year in a backbrace (with attached neck bar thingies, hooray!) because I decided it would be a smart and fun idea to walk down two flights of wooden stairs. at night.  In the rain.  Wearing cheap sandals.  Note that I have all of the grace of a female warthog in heat in the middle of a tripwire testing laboratory.  I assume we can all gather the reason for the backbrace now.  *sob*

...Well actually, that probrably didn't make you feel better.  Hopefully it made you laugh a little bit though.  I always laugh at my own misfortunes because they tend to go away after a while when I do that.

I have a scar on my stomach from where I tried to climb a barbed wire fence... Kind of says it all, doesn't it?

If it's any consolation, I fall over my cats and fall down the stairs on a regular basis.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I've caught my foot in my pantleg at least twice going around an ottoman in the living room...it's a strange sensation having the floor suddenly rise up to meet my face. :)

And as if that wasn't bad enough, the first time it happened, my mom was sitting on a couch nearby. She nearly died laughing at me.  :-[

Holy crap!  I've caught my feet in my pant leg and almost fallen down the steps like a million times!  I thought I was the only person clumsy enough for that.....

If we're telling embarrassing injury stories, I have a scar on my finger from where I slammed it in my own...bedroom door!  Yes, folks, I'm that clumsy!!!!  There are tons more, but I think I'm most proud of that.... :-\

I have a pair of scars just below my right knee from tripping on sidewalk a few years ago :) Didn't pick up my feet enough! I couldn't walk right for a week (and I got out of active participation in gym class!).

I have a *huge* scar down my arm because I had to wake up early to do something or other but I was still  sleepy and so ran into my bedroom so I could snooze before my alarm went off...My arm made unfortunate contact with the edge of the stove and ripped the bloody thing open.  I didn't even notice until I woke up 15 minutes later and there was blood all over my blankets.  That scared the bejeezus out of me because in my stupor I thought somebody had knifed me when I was sleeping!

I also had to get a root canal on my front tooth because I somehow managed to crack the bloody thing open on a glass table (it was the most perilous game of Yahtzee (sp?) I have ever played in my life)  ::)

Heheh, I fell off a roof once and impaled my leg on the rusty mass of our old aerial which was directly underneath. That was pleasant.

This one's just shameful.

I recently took the opportunity to purchase Final Fantasy IV Advance. In the break during my Tuesday class, I was playing it. And I got to THAT infamous comment. ("You Spoony Bard!" for those not in the know.)

I cracked up. Every time I tried to explain it to the teacher I laughed harder. And eventually... I fell off the chair and caught my head on the edge of the table. Ooooog...

THEY SET US UP THE BOMB!!  ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!  MAKE YOUR TIME NOW!

...Ring any bells?

And Jeez, Lord Doomhammer!  I don't think it would be the least bit unmanly if you immediately collapsed and started screaming like a newborn that's been spanked with a spiked mitten.  Owowowowow.  And ow.

One time I got tangled up in a barbed wire fence whilst trying to outrun an angry horse which I did not know was in the pasture...such scars it gave!....  I came into the house all bloodied up and my mom just kinda stared at me and blinked in disbelief (i'm kind of accident-prone)...

There is not enough neosporin in the world....

It's funny because I was more concerned about the falling from the roof at first. I don't think I noticed the jagged piece of metal in my leg until I tried to stand up.

I actually gave myself a head injury after falling out of my rolling chair and hitting my head on a metal toolbox as I was laughing at an episode of Salad Fingers.  'There will be trouble in the maidens quarters tonight!'  'Hmm...yes, the ground sugar does taste rather queer here' Hhahaha.  It was worth the injury and resulting dizziness, let me tell you.

While I was out riding my bike,I lost control of it ,hit a fence post and as I put my foot down to steady myself,I completely twisted out underneath me and not only did I break it in Two different places I also twisted it right out of its socket needless to say my Doctor has baned me from riding bikes, running or playing any kind of streneous sports for fear of further injury.....I have such poor eyesight that my shoulders constantly play bumper car with the walls and the door jambs and everything else in between but I must say That I no longer feel  like the only super Klutz in the world......Get better soon
