Alternate Druid shapeshifts bug?
« on: April 09, 2006, 03:32:14 PM »
The description of alternate druid shapeshift in the readme says physical resistances are *SET* to that of the shape. So youre suppose lose the benefit of any armor your wearing when you are in shapeshift. My problem is that the damage and magic resistance bonus ( Using Armor and Shields Provide Damage Resistance mod) from my armor and shield are applied to the shapeshift natural resistance which makes the druid alot tougher than it should be. I'm just curious if this is normal because its 2 different mods together causing it or if its a bug that has to be fixed.

In the game, there are two ways to change a statistic (EG physical resitance): 'set' and 'add'. However, when combining different types of bonuses (set and add), it might happen that the 'add' bonuses are added on top of the 'set' ones, resulting in the behaviour you described.

It could probably be described as a bug, *however* the weimeric mod only changes shapeshifters, who can't wear armour, so...  ;)
