Installation Problems

I run BG1Tutu.exe, make my selections, and just after I pick American as my language..

The dreaded 'bg1tutu.exe has encountered a problem' pops up.

Help please?

Do you have TotSC installed?  Also, did you remember to edit the CONFIGURATION file and set the BG1 and BG2 paths?

No, I have the original 5 CD set.

Had to system restore!

Now everytime I try to run Bg1 I get an error message..
