There's at least one book listing movies you should make a point of seeing before you die, and I'm willing to bet that not one title it mentions is a porn flick (though some might be racy).

Debbie Does Dallas was a landmark piece of American Cinema.    It is a life altering experience and everyone needs to see it at least once.

Even having to do that is a minor annoyance that *one could do without.  I mean, sure, as a writing device used sparingly, tiny text can be **hilarious, but like anything, it gets stale when overdone.

And it depends how I feel. ALthough I admit that half the time when I watch it I'm watching for the HILLARIOUSLY bad dialogue. Which far too much porn lacks. It's sadly the best part.

Androgyny has nothing to do with gender. It has to do with masculinity and femininity. A person with both male and female sexual organs does not belong to his or her own gender. Transsexuality is not a gender but refers to people who believe they are the opposite sex than the one they were born as.

But you know why none of that matters? The title of the thread only includes men and women; it does not matter if 50 genders exist, I only chose to ask the members of two genders. If you don't believe that you are a man or a woman, don't vote. I wasn't asking you.

I've never met a woman who would admit to likeing porn. Guys usually say the do like porn but I suspect that some don't. OTOH when I went to the theater years ago to view the truly ground breaking movie "Deep Throat" there were at least as many women in the audience as men and a surprising number of senior females. Now maybe it was only that one showing but I doubt it.
Then again when women don't think they're being viewed they can get pretty raunchy. I've seen both writings on women's bathroom walls and photos of parties of and for females with male 'strippers' that were more than willing to go the extra mile (foot, inch?) to keep the crowd happy and involved.

I guess I'm saying that women tend to be more hypocritical about being prudes.

for some reason, i like that.

porn's evolution from underside of a subculture (70's) to a multi million dollar more or less mainstream industry (today) is a fascinating part of modern american culture studies.  Not to mention how it has played a part in the development of cultural psychology for several millenia (the word is greek, after all).  It is also, like so much of life neither right nor wrong.  The world isn't disneyland.

anybody here been to a bullfight?  something of a similar thing, i think.  although bullfighting has the slight edge of actually being a kind of artform - although some of the things that have flashed across my screen would suggest a certain physical artistry...
