It's Norman Rockwell (famous painter of nostalgic Americana and suchlike), and I'm guessing fcm simply looked for a good-sized image of this particular painting.

So, in essence, he was an avid hunter of elephants.

I really like it.

Fcm, I'm guessing you didn't just pluck them from Google?

No, I knew what I was looking for. Norman Rockwell's tripple self portait is one of my favorite paintings. It's about as surreal as someone so homey and good-timesy can get, which I -- as an artist who likes to portary people with rooster heads, appreciate . . . but I'm not a surrealist. I just like non-sequitors.

Anyway, I'm sure I don't have to explain my point about the painting.  :)
Imbriglicated!

Not at all.

You should post a couple of your rooster-head portraits.

A good artist doesn't need their subject to be still to paint them.

Innntresting and a very nice picture. I might stand corrected. There is still the point that he'd have to wear women's clothing while painting and I think it's a bit too risky.

But really there is no way to know for sure.
