@ED - What does the below quote mean? Is it a typo? Or is it a literal English translation of a German expression akin to the Arab saying, "I have seen with my own eyes," which if I understand the phrase correctly, is used to punctuate the veracity of a statement.

I was "talking" with a forum member and they had also met with an internet friend -- had a very pleasant time -- and while I have no plans to meet with anyone from the 'net, I do find it interesting when people meet with strangers. Just curious.
Of the three internet meetings that I know of, two thirds have been nice experiences. Sadly, this one sounds like it was very disappointing.
