baldurdash still useful?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but--

All the files from about a year ago mention how you must install baldurdash before anything else.

However, it's not mentioned on the bg1tutu installation instructions.  Is it redundant with tutufix, now? (also hard to find latest tutufix readme)
