Custom Kits from tutu -> bg2

If I want to play a custom kit in EasyTutu, and continue with the same kit in BG2, are there any problems or things I have to take in consideration? (other than having the same kit installed on BG2)

I want to play an evil archer, so it possible for me to install the Generic Archer kit from Tactics mod on tutu, play through tutu with it, and then import the final save to BG2 as long as Tactics Generic Archer is installed on the BG2 as well? When I import it to BG2, will I get to re-choose weapon proficiencies?

Also, I have the 5+1 cd version of BG1+TotsC, do I have to install the latest TotsC patch before installing Easytutu? The read me for Easytutu didn't mention patching TotsC, but it just feels odd to me. If so, is the international TosC patch meant for the non-english versions?
