I'd counter that we've all got issues of one kind or another. Gospel in full-on kitty-cat mode seems like such a small thing. He used to make me smile a lot, and I miss that.

You never had to deal with him outside the forums. Someone going on in baby talk and using a bunch of emoticons is one thing. Advocating cannibalism and the rights of inanimate objects is another entirely. When I said he had issues, that was a polite way of saying he was totally fucking insane.

I hadn't dealt with him in the chat as much as you guys did, but I had dealt with him some. My first impression off of him was that he was a young girl. And then I found out he's into that furry unbestiality shit. His daddy should have told that boy to man up a long time ago.

Looks like my babelfish is broken. :(

I wish I could insult Joe in a second language.

Joe, next time you want to use phrases like "Man up"  ::) please think carefully. Did the Village People teach us nothing? How many gay pride marches are people going to have to participate in before you get it? Go read "The Feminine Mystique" by Betty Friedan (RIP.) For starters.

How someone with such an umm, interesting psyche as this gospelcat individual would have been sorted out by "manning up" is beyond me. in fact, I think the effects of such a process could only have made things that much scarier.

He actually considered joining the Marines at one point, because he hated humans and throught it might give him a chance to hurt some.

I can't wait for him to learn about the ELF.

You're likely right, but it's fun to use redneck phrases every now and then. I wanted to spit some tubacka in a tin bowl after I typed it.

You are supposed to "get" that people are different, that manliness and femininity are expressed in different ways, that people do not have to conform to someone else's ideas of what is right because trying to just fucks you up, and you could try not to be overtly offensive under the guise of whimsical humour. And don't try to kiss me, you have not grovelled nearly enough to be granted that privilege.

Sadly Corvis, that was Heifer. Exodud. You know, short bloke, long red and green hair. He was the one toying with the idea of the army. We suggested to Joe in his early ultra-conservative deadshit phase that he should go and pay the ultimate sacrifice for his country, but he resisted the idea quite vigourously. It was very disappointing, as I recall.

masculinity rather than manlyness. otherwise you need womanlyness :P

Personally I think it's all a load of pewp and everyone should stop trying to put people into little boxes, but I get the impression I'm in somewhat of the minority on this point.

Yeah, but I wouldn't have said that to GospelCat if he was gay.

I don't recall anyone suggesting I join the military.

I translate manly as learned behaviour, masculine as physical characteristics. I think it's opposite for women. Femininity=learned behaviour; choosing to adorn oneself with make-up, jewels, frocks, and adapting patterns of behaviour identified as feminine. Womanliness=physical characteristics.

My comments were more concerned with manhood vs. childhood rather than maculinity vs. femininity.

No, GC was definitely into the whole rifle and knives thing. Knives in particular, as I recall?

Sorry. Confused. Thought Corvis meant Joe.
I sincerely hope Gospelcat never found anything sharp to play with.
