@Moongaze posts a message of peace. (Buy everyone a round!)

Now you are being ridiculous, luv. Nobody has that kind of money. Noone but Jason, but I hope he is spending it all on game development instead of booze.

I would get drunk on the first one that Bons has about his mod idea, which should be plural as in ideas.

Hmm. What's less than a sip? Sniff the fumes? The sad part is that we'd probably still get drunk with just #1.

The new component features Aerie in a relationship with an NPC of the same sex, monkeys, a bag of wool, or other furry-type thing. (Chug)
What about if its all 4?

Teeheehee over it in chat, because, as jester has soberly pointed out, none of us can afford the to play the Moongaze Drinking Game except Jason, who is fiscally focused in other directions, namely game development and bread machines. :D

Newt had always suspected that people who regularly used the word "community" were using it in a very specific sense that excluded him and everyone he knew.

This Moongaze sounds like a confused individual about his sexuality. They do offer professional help for issues like this.

Yes, but the effectiveness of castration can be questionable. I'd advise caution.

So does that mean that Muerte is Moongaze in disguise, or (surprise) SimDing0, or what?

Someone else, but in an effort to be polite (what a crazy 2006 this is!) and let that someone save face, I figure it's worth not mentioning.  We don't want yet another crazy argument that involves people arguing about identity (and possibly gender and sexual orientation) on the internet.  Plus the fact that I'm only 98%-ish sure.

Regardless, even if I'm wrong and Muerte is just a blur person, it was a pretty weak insult, and we at PPG can do better than that. If you're going to imply that someone's an idiot, do it with some grace, poise, and dignity. At least that way your flaws will be outnumbered by virtues three to one.

Ahh, Vel, he already admitted to not minding if we think that a long time ago. New material please. (insert cranky feminist diatribe "andwhat'swrongwithbeingawoman?" here, and then ignore it because as a person who got shirty about being accused of manliness, my opinion on the subject is clearly unreliable and biased.)

Yeah, he admitted he doesn't mind if we think he's a woman. But maybe we've thought he's a woman so long he's starting to wonder if we're right or not! And who said there was anything wrong with being a woman! You missy have issues :P (and I have issues with puncuation. I blame 5 AM for the lack)

I refuse to answer until you prove you've read more than 3 words of my post.

Vel: sad, isn't it. I did say ignore it because I'm unreliable on the issue. I lose my ability to accurately decipher language when my feminist ire is raised. ;D
Returning now to the atmosphere of peace. Thank you Moongaze, and Ghrey.

Did you at any point in your posts mention politics (real world), vegetarianism, sexuality, feminism, and whatever else blew up in that last little bit of 2005? Or did you at any point impose some arbitrary rules in a thread, like people only being able to post happy or sad poems? Because if you did, then I didn't read your posts.

I think the "thread is working" because it was "A message of peace" and you're being kind and not contentious.

The logical explanation is that there's some wacky automatic translation that happens in the feminine brain for things coming in, that doesn't get reversed when going out. Who knows what they're talking about?

'They'?  I think you mean Vel and Eral, and if so, Vel's a dude, so... hooray, this thread has devolved into an argument about gender on the internet!  Go us!

It was the coward's way of saying "Who knows what Eral is talking about?"

Better just to slap the face of women everywhere than to single one out.

EDIT: in case my seriousness isn't easily gauged, insert your favorite smiley here
EDIT: if I was on top of my game today, I would have said "They" == Eral and you. oh, well

Well I'd guess Eral for one, and I figured out what she was saying.  As for Erals issues, they must be drawn out! I dream of a world where Feminists and Meninists (I was going to write masculinists, but meninists is more fun to say!) are a thing of the past, because they're not needed any more!

I know Ghrey, that I have mightily transgressed by entering into discussion of politics (real world), vegetarianism, sexuality, feminism,(you forgot religion, keep track, man, keep track) and bras, but really, you should get over it. You'll have to go to GitP for an atmosphere free of those. I will probably still reference those things - ob/com, so sad- and you will not read what I say, offending your delicate pirate sensibilities as I do, OK. But it is somewhat confusing when you ask me to clarify something you haven't read. Makes it difficult to identify the part lacking clarity. How about I put little coloured warnings  to warn you of content you find boring?
EDIT: Aren't you over the poetry thread yet? It was called  'To Be Or Not To Be' - I assumed that meant pro/anti-life. As a mod, you should be glad. It's probably the only on-topic thread I have ever been in.

devSin - I like the way you hastily inserted general smileys. However, acting out of fear rather than genuine remorse just doesn't cut it. Expect a visit from the SWAT team. Any tick of the clock.

Thank you Vel: meninists is a very good word. Shared culture may give you an advantage over devSin and Ghrey, increasing your understanding of my meaning. Or you are just much much smarter.
