melora, I've just received a PM from Joe, and he apologises for using a word that caused you offence. He grovels for forgiveness, particularly for implying that you find the word offensive because of deficiencies in your ability to understand language, instead of apologising and explaining why he thought it was an acceptable to word for him to use even though he is not African-American. I'm pretty sure there were tears raining on his keyboard : some of the words were random, and the typing was spaced unevenly. Unfortunately, I accidently erased this PM as well and have no proof of his repentance to offer you. Still I know my reputation as a wanton cloistering hypocritical apostate speaks for my truthfulness in this matter, as well.
We weren't able to get any illegal fireworks this year. Which is probably why we drank more this year.
