From the main page:

Quote
BG1Tutu is a project which automatically converts the resources in a Baldur's Gate, or Baldur's Gate + TotSC install to the BGII engine.

What this means, is that if you have a BG1 install and a BG2 install and install Tutu, you can play the BG1 storyline using BG2! i.e. you get 1024x768 resolution, better animations, kits, BG2 GUI etc.  Also, as its running using BG2's engine, it makes it much more modable, hence all these wonderful mods for Tutu (e.g. Mur'neth, Finch, G3Tweaks), which use functions that were implemented in BG1.

Hope that helps a bit.

I think that Tutu Tweak pack from G3 adds some bags of holding and stuff like that. Just be sure to read everything before installing and know that while tutu does give you a LOT of great benefits it does also have a few bugs.

That's impossible, your comp will be fine (well, if you press reset button during tutu conversion you may have a bit of disorder on your HHD but the same with any other programme treated this way.

Not sure I do understand what you're asking... if you use tutu you run BG2 to play tutu, you know that, right? So you create a folder called "portraits" in your bg2 folder and put them there.

tutu fix 15 is for tutu 4, tutufix 16 is for tutu 6 (beta) It probably means that Your BG1 install is not full, and tutu has to be rerun after getting all the files there.

First, here in tutu forum there is "what a full installation of bg1 should look like" compare it with your installation. tutu version is in the readme. If you've downloaded from the tutu website you have 4. (6 is only as a link in the forum)

You should probably check BEFORE reinstalling, no point in doing that if they're all there.

when you install BG1 you need to pick 'full install' every box checked it will complain that you don't have enough room, if you know you have more then the 2.5G it wants, the tell it install anyway, the installer can't recognize the larger HDD's that are in new computers.

I think at least in some versions it's called custom install. And after you'll get your bg1 to look like the list you have to reinstall tutu too. What BG1 do you have? Is it original saga or a normal version?

oh, right 3 cds instead of 5? So the cbf are probably compressed biffs.
