Tunguska meteorite and UFOs
« on: November 17, 2005, 06:58:40 PM »
I bought the new issue of MAXIM today and in one of the articles was mentioned something about a pressconference of Russian scientists who went to the place where the meteorite crashed. Their spokesperson apparently have said that they found proof of an alien shipwreck, but refused to shoe any photographs because "they forgot to take cammeras with them". The article was very scepticle but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and see if any of the forum member know anything about it.

Maxim?  Science?  I think you ought to search for a second, third, and possibly fourth opinion.

That's why I'm posting here. I know it's not Maxim is not something a science almanach, but they mentioned it as something plane stupid and ridiculous. I just wanted to see if anyone had heard anything about that pressconference. That's all. Don't get me for some UFO psycho, but I am not ready to throw away the idea of life away from earth without any evidence of the opposite.

Perhaps you could post the names of scientists/scientific institutions referenced? I could look it up in some of our databases.
