@Resonance - very nicely put.

@Jester - is it just my memory (second-handed I'm afraid) or did you change the gender in your profile? (if one may ask such a question)

As a perfonal reflection I always found it incomprehensible why some people do not terribly mind spending 8 hours a day for 50 at a job they hate because it pays well, and at the same time they'd never exchenge it for one hour a week, same money should it involve sex. As if listening to their boss's stupid orders was more diginifying.

Maybe that's because people don't want their wives/husbands to have sex with other people?

I would if it were just that simple, but prostitution doesn't work like that at all in the real world. You start at the top of your game and then fall deeper and deeper into waste and destitution until you meet your end being choked to death by some senator or rotting in some alley from untreated syphilis while bums fight over the scraps of your clothes.
Imbriglicated!

@You start at the top of your game...

I am not sure that is an accurate statement in many ways, but it would sound good on any recruitment pamphlet from a top MBA school.

It's true, from what I've read about prostitution. Perhaps a more accurate way to state it is that it never gets any better, it just keeps getting worse. You're only attractive for so long -- if you even have the good fortune of being a comely prostitute -- which most don't.

There's a lot of truth in that, my views may be influenced by the fact that I'm a big bearded guy quite hard to strangle.  ;D
PS. Looking at literary history our existence would be very dull if not for untreated syphilis. ;)

Or exotic dancing. Both are preferrable to prostitution. Pornstars have to be vaguely attractive, however. Exotic dancers . . . not so much. If I was destitute and all my chances of ever having a ligitimate career in politics/law were completely shot . . . or I had a heroin addiction to take care of, I'd probably be a stripper. It's easy money. But since I actually graduated middleschool, that'll never happen.

Something occurs to me.  I said I'd sleep with the him for 10k.  Actually, I need to ammend this.  I'd sleep with him.........but not for 10k.  Think about how paltry such a sum would look to him.  No.....I'm going to have to say I'd need 50k.  The bottom line here is that if he's willing to pay 10k, than he would probably be willing to pay 50.  I bet he wipes his ass with more than 10k.

Why yes, he does...  Check out the bathroom on his airplane. Yes, all that is real gold.  My former husband has been on this plane.

Having seen glain's pictures of the Sultan's plane, (does fabulous wealth cause your sense of good taste to atrophy? What is wrong with the man?) the Sultan is clearly a man with way more money than sense and everyone should go for the 30 billion. You'd probably get it. And then he wouldn't be able to commit anymore interior design atrocities.

And let's not even think about how many starving COUNTRIES could have been sponsored by UNICEF if he had installed a nice chrome or porcelain sink and sent them the rest. Fark, it's obscene. (And yes, I have seen Blood Raven's statue picture - while that photo makes me sorry for the cat, this just makes me sick.)

Take my word for it, that's tasteful compared to some of the planes we did for other Middle Eastern Royality.  *cough*

Glain does the Middle East!

Also, if he said I'll pay n to SLEEP with you, it's written clearly that his purpose is sleep, so contractual law has you covered, regardless that his intentions were to stick you.

Yeah...I can imagine the argument over legalities there. It smacks of "The People's Court" meets the Jerry Springer International Tour.
