Where does this list come from? Things the PC can't get, or just things which are not referenced by other files? I'm sure I have seen some of them (Hentold's dagger, Missile Attraction armour, Cursed Berserking sword from Brage) before... and I'm guessing the Sword of Chaos is something Sarevok is equipped with? Perhaps these are duplicates?

I would hazard a guess Aldeth Sashenstar is meant to have ALDETH.ITM. :)

Also, ICHAN04's name reminds me of IWD1. When I was making the Tweak Pack I recall seeing a few random armours with I in front of their names (i.e. ICHAN, ILEAT, IPLAT) but I never looked to see if they appeared.

Vampire's Revenge was IIRC a joke item. I think you needed to CLUA something in and then talk to someone like Ulcaster when you had another item and you got it. I don't remember the details but it's the sort of thing I've seen a few SP posters wet themselves in excitement over. ;)

It's just the list NI spit out.  I'm not sure how it determines whether an item is "unused" or not, but the list is really to be taken with a grain of salt.  I'll need to go back and double-check all of them, as I'm sure some of them *are* in the game.

AROW15.ITM seems to be identical to AROW09.ITM, except that it is undroppable.  I think it can be ignored.

BRAC05 are generic bracers, no special effects.  Not exactly useful, but what adventurer wouldn't want a little forearm protection, even if it's all in his head?  :)

Could be tossed about in a few places.

FLAM01, FRAG01, FROSTY, LASER, and PROX01 are... well, who knows what Bioware was thinking.  Not many lasers, flamethrowers, or frag grenades around the Sword Coast, I think.

Yeah, I remember this item, too, but NI is still showing no hits on any CRE, STO, ARE, BCS, or DLG file.  Maybe it was also in BG2 and that's from where we're remembering it?  Anyone else know for sure if this does or does not appear in BG1?

If it doesn't, it'd be nice to add in somewhere.

MISC74 (The Candle), MISC76 (Dream Potion), and MISC77 (Dream Skull) are all likely tied to the cut ending sequence.

MISC79 (Female Body) could possibly, maybe, be used for something in the future.  It's not like there aren't enough bodies to tote around in BG1 already, right?  :)

I am 99% sure the Skull of Kereph is from a quest, you have to go give it to his brother.

As for the Waterdeep book, somewhere in the Candlekeep main tower's shelves?

Good idea about Candlekeep.  Will look into a good place to stash it.

As for the Skull.  I think there is another item called Skull of Kereph, yes.  The "Dream Skull" probably has some targeting issues with dialog.tlk entries.

There is also a broken armor and shield/helmet, I forget which. They probably wanted everything to be breakable at some point.

SW1H99 is listed as the only Sword of Chaos, at least according to NI searches.  Sarevok's .cre files (SAREVO and SAREVO2) both are equipped with SW2H05, which is a generic 2-handed sword, which, interestingly, is flagged as 1-handed.

So... assign Sarevok his proper sword, copy over the sword from BG2, or just whistle and look the other way?

Ah, OK.  I probably didn't look hard enough at all of the details on SW2H05.  I guess my next question would be whether to do a small STRING_SET or SAY NAME command to rename SW2H05 to say "Sword of Chaos"?  It would take all of a few seconds.

He never drops the sword but renaming it might make it easier to remember what its use is. Or does he drop the sword in Tutu?

None of these scrolls, according to NI, appear in the game, and I can't find duplicates of any of them.  Seems like an awful lot of unused scrolls.  Can anyone confirm this?  If it's true that they do not exist in the game, shall they be split equally between High Hedge and Sorcerous Sundries?

Flame strike, Raise dead, Cure Critical Wounds are all priest spells.  Normally you can't learn these spells, though I believe BGII may have had Cure Critical wounds as a scroll that could be cast from the quick items slot.

I could have sworn that Backbiter existed in the game.  I have a hazzy memory that I was bemoning the fact that the only +3 spear in the game was cursed.

It has an interesting icon, and has the following (albeit incomplete) description:

Probably it is something that was planned for TotSC but never completed.  The item itself is actually +2 (to hit and damage).  The description and/or the item could be edited to match the other.  But... there's really nothing to distinguish it from a normal two-handed sword, whether +1 or +2.  Is this, perhaps, a canon item?

I also vaguely recall one of my friends using this spear but I cannot remember having it myself.

On further reflection, I think I was noticing that the only +3 sword you can get is cursed, and that I had probably CLUAConsoled the spear +3 into the game.
