Turning Evil in Hell
« on: August 17, 2005, 02:26:40 PM »
Alright, I am about to place the final tear of Bhaal in the niche where it is supposed to be. Then I suddenly turn NE. Why? I did the quests like this.

1. Attacked the dragon
2. Refused the cloak
3. Gave away Blackrazor
4. Didn't give in to the taint at Sarevok

Maybe I shouldn't have attacked the dragon?

You attacked the dragon.  You can talk your way out of it.  Its evil to attack it just coz he tells you the dragon has to die because... it does.

I just *cannot* give up the Blackrazor. I load up potions of Master Thievery, and let Imoen steal the tear.

With regard to not attacking the dragon ... your choices in the conversation with the demon thingy count here too.  If you choose the right responses to the demon's comments, you'll realise you don't have to attack the dragon.

Edited for grammar ... my fingers hate me today.
"Some say that our destinies may be read in the stars, that the plans of the gods are revealed to those who but know where to look.  They speak it true but their location is false, for I have seen my destiny shining in your eyes" (Anomen, PPG NPC Flirt Pack)

"You know you're tired when you get up from the desk and the headset's still around your neck"
