   Yes, I do begin to see your point.  Perhaps it is not a potentially disturbing as it seems?

    I would prefer characters' ages to be less specific.  For example, a young follower of Lathander and the accompanying portrait could look young but not illegal.

    I have not played the Saerileth mod but I must admit I was uncomfortable with the character's age. As to Moongaze's proposed character, I do find the character and potential portraits...off-putting. Of course, I find anime to be somewhat pedophilliac and hentai is of course pedophillia personfied. Sometimes anime so blatant in its pedophilliac imagery that I am appalled.

Regarding the anime pictures: Are the people who are interested in romancing a 15 year old, 15 year olds themselves? That makes it a crush (or fanboy/girlism), not pedophilia.

As for Saerileth, is the romance based on her age, or is her age incidental? The first is like pedophilia, the second is unfortunate. I thought pedophiliacs specifically liked the fact that their victims were underage, whereas it is a different case if you happen to fall in love with someone who is 15 and you are happy to wait until she is 16 or 25 or 40 or whatever, but do not lose interest just because she is aging, unlike a pedophiliac, who I presume would lose interest once their victim hit puberty.
