I made a full avatar playable Minotaur for Dragonlance, I'm not sure if they'll ever use it. In case someone here can use it, its at;
http://www3.telus.net/public/pamric/
4 armour levels, about 10 weapons, All in clown colors with standard transparency. Its a lot to sort through, but there they are.
(I'll need to recover that ftp space soon)
I hope that helps :)

Any takers? questions? Anyone here use Blender for 3d graphics?
I'll check back once in a while. See if anyone wants them.

I'd add it to DLTC for sure :)
But i got no 3d tools. I could handle bmp sequences only :(

Avenger! nice to see you're still around. 8)
The DLTC board gave me the impression that project was dead. Nice to see someone is still on it, DLTC has such potential !
A far as I know those just need converting to .bam files. If anything is missing let me know, I'll be around.

Um? did my post get deleted? If so why? ??? Oh never mind there was a second post

anyway, Jackal if you need the space the WTP can hold the animation for you and put it up for download for anyone who wants it.

I can be reached here http://forums.blackwyrmlair.net/index.php?act=idx

Thanks. My ftp is ok for the moment, but once these are in .bam format that would be best. ( not too many would want to download 40000 (?) images just to bam them each time.)
My time is spread a bit thin, but I'll look into the bam maker.

Ok, what program is best for converting many .bmps into .bam . BamWorkshop 1, 2, or some other?

if the bmp's are in a sequence. Like xx001,xx002 ...
Then DLTCEP can convert them into a bam :)
That's why i said, i could handle a sequence of bmp's.

Btw, since dltc is not going anywhere soon, i guess this minotaur anim pack should be a weidu addon.
The best would be to create a weidu package compatible with the original game too.
In dltc the half-orc will be replaced with minotaur, i guess it would be OK for BG2 as well.

So, I look for a weidu ninja, to make this working!

Surely you'd just want to replace the Minotaur animation already in BG2?  I mean, there are already ones in Spellhold...

avenger, can DLTCEP open an entire sequences of images? I have a program that can do that (animagic) then can DLTCEP open a sequence? Because I think BWS1 can

That would be very cool if one of you bammed them.
Each secquence is 10 frames or so (some more),  runs 16 directions clockwise from 'A' facing down, to 'P' . The digits ending the name are sequencial, but start at various points depending on the action.(eg, one handed slash is seq. 71-83)

Yes, but you need to rename them to a unique sequence. If a0071-a0083 is intended to be a bam cycle, and there are images over a0083, you have to rename the files from a0071-a0083 (or copy them away to an empty folder).
Then you can import the series of images as a BAM cycle.

I still have to ask why you made a new minotaur animation.

Yeah but DLTC runs on BG2 so it already had one.  So, again, why?

I think that it is a npc animation and not just a creature animation. with clown colors, exchangeable waapons, and such

Yeh, in Dragonlance, minotuars are a vaguely civilized race, and half-orcs are out, so it's reasonable to make them playable.

Ya. this one needed all weapons and armours that a player charecter would need. An npc would have been easy.
I liked learning about building infinity engine graphics, but I'm still hoping they will get used.

Jackal, i would work on it, but i still cannot use blender (though got it installed and able to load the project file). I even made some bmp's but it doesn't do what i want. It complaints about the python script too. Couldn't you do the additional work? If you need help on how to use dltcep or even adding more features, i can do that.

The Blender work is all done( though I did leave the model on the ftp...). Its all in .bmp sequences now. They just need converting into .bam files.
That is still quite a bit of work though. But if someone is experienced making bams that would be most effecient.
