..time to move on. I got as far as unlocking Baldur's Gate, and then saw that the 'coronation' bug was being experienced by more than one player, with no apparent fix in sight. So why should I play until the gamestopper? Nice try,,I'll check back when there is a V1.5 or so. :'(

That bug will be fixed in v1.03, but it will take some time before that update is ready.
