Okay, I've uploaded v1.31 to the site. However, I'm afraid I'm still seeing the inverting issue with the ground piles even in this version.

Strange... the item inversion was fixed for me with the service pack for v 1.3, and v 1.31 works as well.

I have noticed one other thing, though. :)

1. the clock in the lower left hand corner disappears from the GUI during conversations when the left interface panel is hidden (ie. the visible interface consists only of the bottom and right panels).  The "indentation" for it is still there, it's just the sun/moon-and-gears device that's missing.  Only during conversations and "you have died, quit or load?" screens, though.  Otherwise, it's there ticking away just as you'd expect.

Oh. Wait. It's possible that the inversion was fixed for Tutu, but I'm testing the GUI over regular ToB for speed. I'll make sure I check everything on a Tutu game in future.

Worked for me under both Tutu and ToB.  I made a point of checking before posting.

Incidentally, I also found that there's a good reason why the Readme says the GUI should be installed after Tutu, or more specifically, if using the GUI with ToB, why TutuGUI should be completely uninstalled and then reinstalled once Tutu's done setting itself up.  You get some weird combinations there with the main menu screen and the loading screens. Reinstalling the mod doesn't help in that particular situation, either.

Just so we're both clear on my current installation, though:

BG1 (original 5 disk version) + TotSC (patched to US5512) (fresh install)
SoA (original 4 disk version) + ToB (patched to 26498) (fresh install)

the BG2 paperdoll fix

a single .itm scroll with a scribe-able Dimension Door on it (I'm a mage junkie, but haven't made use of the scroll yet)

BG1Tutu v6 (I was Tutu-ing until encountering the bug in the Nashkel Mine with Mulahey's scroll and couldn't progress to Chapter 3, then uninstalled it to putter around in SoA/ToB for a bit, still with the GUI installed)

TutuGUI v 1.31 (started using this at v 1.2, completely uninstalled it and removed all associated folders when v 1.3 came out, then patched that with the service pack, then completely uninstalled the SP and then the GUI itself, and deleted all associated folders to install v 1.31)

This gist of it is that my installation had changed a fair bit, but I've kept things as distinct as possible.

Oh, and when you're on a Buy & Sell screen, and you're trying to sell something directly from a gem bag or scroll case (I can only assume it applies to bags of holding and potion cases as well, but I haven't found either of those yet, so I can't say definitively), the "Close Container" button still appears in the SoA GUI format.

Still with v. 1.31 there.

The only part of the GUI that's affected by whether Tutu is installed or not sould be the loadscreens. Chapter loadscreens that is...

MO: Bugs noted.

Side note: @Ladejarl - how do you like the IWD1 gui? What do you think of making it for BG2 your new project ;D?

??? I thought it is RAR? At least winrar and Total Commander both open it with no problems.

I am allready working on two other non-GUI projects, but I'll keep their nature secreet a while longer.

IDW1 has a nice GUI though.  ;)

I'll make the next upgrade self-unpacking.

This is a hardcoded issue which I have no control over.

A note about the next version: I'll add BG1 like chapter and NPC epilogue screens to the SoA/Tob only install.

An upgrade of TutuGUI is ready.

http://home.online.no/~josthaug/TutuGUIsp.exe (Size: 5.8 Mb)

Version 1.4:-Fixed button in container screen. Old GUI button was used when selling from container.
-Added BG1 style chapter intro screens and NPC epilogue screen to SoA/Tob only instalation.
-Re-worked the bg1 style area loadscreens and added that feature to the ToB part of the game.

This upgrade can be installed on top of TutuGUI version 1.2 or higher.

A full version will be made available as well.

Don't have a big enough Hard Drive on my antique to download Tutu,  but downloaded this to use with SOA + TOB.

G O R G E O U S, especially combined with 1 Pixel Productions and the G3 Tweaks.

Thank you, my lady. :)

I will be releasing one more version of the GUI in a short while as I have noted a few odds and ends. I have noted these while playing with
Sims quest pack, which has so few bugs that it brings tears to once eyes.  ;)

@Ladejarl - how much can you do with the GUI - e.g. adding a scroll bar to kit selection menu wouldn't be possible? From what I know it would effectively lift the limit to the kit number.

PS. Once again - Great work!

Scoll bars are hardcoded and can't be added by other means. The patching done to the exe by the mod are limited to changing a text string (file name) as they are easy to locate.

An upgrade of TutuGUI is ready (Final version, I hope).

http://home.online.no/~josthaug/TutuGUIsp.exe (Size: 5.8 Mb)

Version 1.5:-Character export when pre-generating characters for multiplayer sesions using old GUI background was fixed.
-Another re-work of the area loadscreens was done. The last one, promise.
-Adjustments was done to the position of text in the character generation /level-up stats screen, and the player statistics screen.
-Color correction of the animation file which is used to display spellcasting icon, turn undead icon, etc.
-Corrected wrong font in character sounds options screen.
            -Upgraded WEIDU to v.185.

As allways, this upgrade can be installed on top of TutuGUI version 1.2 or higher.

A full version will be made available as soon as I catch Sim in IRC.

A teaser, the new loadscreen format:
