BG1 path in Tutu
« on: May 22, 2005, 08:57:34 AM »
I don't have Tutu installed ATM, so please don't hit me if it's obvious... ;)

How does Tutu know where to look for BG1 data after it's installed?
For the installation, the BG1 path is taken from the configuration file.
Where is it stored after the conversion is done?

The reason for the question: If I wanted to change the path of BG1 while Tutu's still installed, what would I have to change that Tutu finds the new BG1 path?

Thanks,
Cas

You'd have to mess around with the chitin.key.  I think it might actually be less frustrating if you uninstalled Tutu, changed the BG1 folder, and re-ran Tutu, rather than changing chitin.key manually in whatever way it needs doing.  To be honest I'm not sure what shenanigans Wes/Japh pulled for that one.
