Raising the dead in Saradush
« on: April 09, 2005, 07:00:54 AM »
I vaguely remember from playing that there was an encounter in Saradush, where the party was approached by a boy whose father was killed. You then could raise the father from death.
Now, I can't find that encounter anymore - neither by playing (okay, teleporting to Saradush), nor by looking at the area, area script, etc...

Does anyone know how this is triggered? (Or probably, hopefully someone is less blind than I am...)
Thanks.

You approach the stairs that went up to the archers and the mage for the Kiser quest and one of those comets (fireprojektile, duh??) hits your group and a bystande. The boy's father is killed, but you are just knocked back and hurt a little IIRC. I never got the chance to resurrect him though.

I haven't had this much fun since... the last time.

Thanks, found it. :)
You get the option to raise the father when talking to the boy, if you have an appropriate spell memorized or the Rod of Resurrection in your inventory.
