Defjam? Oh, that mod which changes the EXP to something more sensible?
That's the one.

I don't see why people think Chateau Irenicus is so bad. I actually loved it the first couple hundred times I went through. After that, though, it got old.

And that's when I first discovered the Pocket Plane Group!

Heh, I did Chateau Irenicus a million times over. Then I discovered CTRL+J. Then I discovered DBG. And now I'm addicted. :P I would try a reasonable improvement of Irenicus' Dungeon, however. Not Tactics-style, if at all possible. Oh well. Bring on the bard!

i discovered pocket-plane like hmmmm when i got to the elven city (totierd to even want to try and spell it) suldenessliar? .... ok whaever, i still hadnt used cheats, addons, anything, then i discovered gamespy arcade, and downloaded kelsy, and in the credits it had the link to this place, or was it weidu i dun remember one of the two, anyway i joined up and now im plauged with cheats romance and a better game!

talking of romance, me and my friend want to know if the "onger road" (one that brings jon-bon into the gamee as a team member) if someone knows f a romance version? we thought that would be fucking hullarious, considering we changed his piccy into a more ATTRACTIVE model

If you solo the dungeon with a mage that refuses to sleep all the time (Gods don't you just hate that? When the game force you to rest several days inside a dungeon to be able to kill anything? All the role-play go out the window) on hard, then the goblins are actually kinda scary... kinda. Nevertheless, somewhere around 100re-runs the dungeon goes lame. Yet I have trouble using Dungeon-be-gone (Must... Pick... Up... EVERYTHING).

Strange that there are dozens of mods to make the ending better and almost none for the first hour or so. Why? Dungeon-be-cool would be a godsend!

Perhaps.

OK. Not perhaps. Definitely. I love DBG.

One of my hobbies is starting new games and trying out new character combos to see what happens. I really like the ability to skip that evening I inevitably spend trudging through that same old dungeon again...and again...and again.

Blue, you are my hero.

Just wanted to pay my regards, Blue. This mod is *priceless* indeed. So brief, yet so brilliant... And Jasper... Ah, Jasper rulez! ^^'
BUT I must disagree with "Haer'Dalis" matter - he is NOT a jackass!

If Jasper St. Baird operates in 3rd edition rules, then shouldn't he be a character for IWD2?  Just saying.

First mod I ever downloaded, and one of my favourites. Great dialogue, and fantastic time-saving...

Or it would be, if I didn't go through the whole dungeon looting as I go, and then double back to talk to Jasper. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who does that. :-\

All hail Jasper St. Baird, and god bless Ctrl-J.

SCSII has a reasonable improvement of ID.

*SPOILER*

All the goblins are replaced with groups of Duergar that a bit more challenging and, more importantly, much more believable.

Why oh why did I not install this earlier? So many hours of having to fight stupid goblins and imps could have been spent on more enjoyable tasks. Thank you so much though - as I regularly return to playing this game it'll still manage to save me hours to come.  :D
