Best . . . mod . . . ever

Okay, that may be hyperbole, but having experienced it for the first time last night, I had to pass along my humble praises. Excellent idea, wonderfully executed. ". . .  and remember, love all bards, except that Haer'Delis jackass." BWA HA HA HA HA !

Jasper's so cool!
The only problem is, once you've done DBG for ages you forget how to do Chateau Irenicus ... not good when you've managed to accidentally delete the mod!  :o
Would you give a guy a foot massage? If so, maybe you'd like Nathaniel.

Heh, that'd mean you get to play it fresh, then.  Not that it was ever fun, even the first time I played it.  Little known fact: I quit BG2 for six months or so because Irenicus' dungeon sucked so much.

I actually stopped playing BG2 because the dungeon was just slogging.  DBG saved what sanity I have left.  Thank you.

Best you can manage is to download the Jasper soundset, for that Jasper experience in your party.

And then play with Keto in your party, so you can covet Jasper from afar all the more. :)

Indeed DBG is great even thought Jasper annoyed me a bit.

First time I encountered the tiefling I got so excited finding such a strange NPC I kept him despite I didn't like him. And I did't have to fight the shitty hard planar battles either.

DBG is great. I can't replay BG2 without it, so you, the authors, have my thanks.
I can't say I'm too keen on Jasper, though. I vote for an optional female version of Jasper! (Though I'll choke in my chocolate muffin if you guys are going to add it.)

Consider Jasper the price of convenience.

True enough. It's a small price to pay, anyway.
If I really wanted to, I suppose I could worm my way into his CRE file and tweak it myself.

Please don't get me wrong, DBG was a great idea, just for variety I wanted to say that I enjoy Irenicus and play it every time, it's really not that bad ;)

Wasn't this over at Stoplight Red's forum? Dungeon-Be-Cool? "Fix it, don't nix it"? I'd welcome anything that makes Chateau Irenicus more of a challenge, without making it rediculously overdone like replacing goblins, golems and duergar with vampires, umber hulks and illithid.

Actually at the moment I'm playing the Dungeon and DefJam + Harder Enemies from mix mod make it very, very challenging without killing playbility...
