possible bug???
« on: January 21, 2005, 09:39:26 PM »

Just curious, I created a halforc cleric/fighter, Starting out at level 1 with a con of 19 I only started with 6 hitpoints...... this cannot possibly be correct.... I should have 11 or so.... by my calculations. Is this a bug?

Hmm.  Okay, can you go to your BG2 (tutu) override folder and find the file named baldur.bcs, zip that up, and then e-mail it to ghreyfain@pocketplane.net?

No need to worry about it now the problem seems to have corrected itself after I did a complete reinstall of tutu

I have the same problem but I haven't solved it by doing a complete reinstall of tutu.

but I had problems installing the tutufix.  when I'm  installing the tutufix v.9 this happens while installing the core bugfixes :

ERROR locating resource for 'COPY'
Resource [_sw1h24.itm] not found in KEY file:
        [./chitin.key]
Stopping installation because of error.

ERROR Installing [Core Bugfixes], rolling back to previous stat
Will uninstall 606 files for [SETUP-TUTUFIX.TP2] component 0.
Uninstalled    606 files for [SETUP-TUTUFIX.TP2] component 0.
ERROR: Failure("resource [_sw1h24.itm] not found for 'COPY'")

can I fix this problem , If I use some sort of a trainer, which improves my hitpoints? but than I don't know, if my character will improve his hitpoints ,when I get a level up later in the game.

please help   ???  :-[   ::)

I believe that file is a sword file. If so, and you have an editor to get it into chitin.key, you might try copying another sword and saving it as that filename.

Are you trying to install Tutufix in your BG1, or BG2 folder?  You need to make sure it's being run in the BG2 folder (where you ran the Tutu conversion program).

did you mean to open the chitin.key with my notepad? and what chitin.key file should I alter? the one in the BG1 or in the BG2 folder?

in the chitin.key in the BG2 folder I can't find the sw1h24-sword
in the chitin.key in the BG2 folder there is this "sw1h24" three times in this huge table.
first as sw1h24 , than Csw1h24  and Isw1h24  but allways without the ".itm"- extension. where can I find another sword there , and how can I copy it as the sw1h24-sword.

I'm sorry, that could be a little bit confusing to understand, but it's also confusing me to write it down  ;D

Try copying sw1h24 to the override, and make sure to add the underscore in front.  _sw1h24.itm is the full file name.

Um, that basically means you've just undone any fixes the patch may have made.
