From a Mod, or am I just dense?
« on: January 06, 2005, 09:59:54 PM »
I've been playing BG2 for a long time now... And I just noticed something for the very first time... However, due to some mods I have installed, I don't know if it's part of the original game, or something added by the mods...

In the back of Ribald's in Waukeen's Promenade there are two paintings, showing characters from the D&D cartoon series from the 80's... They're examinable, and give you a short line of text describing them, as well as the fact that the group ultimately was eaten by Tiamat...

So, am I just dense and were these paintings there the whole time? Or are they little easter eggs added by one of the mods I currently use? (Flirtpack, Weimer's EoU, Goo, Kiara, Tashia, DBG)

Anyone else know of any weird little things like that? Makes me want to spend more time exploring some places...

They were always there.  Didn't know about the Tiamat bit, myself.
