let's skip right to the quest
« on: November 19, 2004, 01:42:33 AM »
Ok, I have no patience. I'm dying to see Keto's quest. The readme (I'm a girlie type-individual, I read them, I'll never truely be a computer head) says without Yoshimo, you get the her quest after 18 game days, perhaps. I have CntrldT a million times and am on Day 46 - no invitation.
Please don't tell me I have to wait until Chapter 6. That's just cruel.

SetGlobal("PGKetoQuestTimer","GLOBAL",1) and then talk to an innkeeper, but you didn't hear that from me.

Gee, I wonder why Eral's in an all-fired hurry to see the quest?  ;)
Newt had always suspected that people who regularly used the word "community" were using it in a very specific sense that excluded him and everyone he knew.

Having spent the last three hours (OK, four) playing through all conceivable options, I have not yet heard or seen Talindra.
Penny, Sir Joules, Liffetta, Lyrica, Prudence- yes. Stacey and Talindra no. Since Stacey isn't listed with a song(Ohh! Why not?)I am not so surprised, but Talindra is. And who is Ulga?

Sent via PM. I'm not going to gleefully spoil the whole game for everyone happening by the first week of release. :)

God will reward you for your goodness. If you don't want to wait that long, when you write your novel "The Cruelty of Cromptoni", let me write the epilogue. I will call it "Cromptoni: A Big Woolly Lambkin".

Love Ulga. When is the album going to be released?

Alarielle, your singing is beautiful. Words like "divinely beautiful" spring to mind. Words like "I see why Talindra and Prudence are in seperate sequences- and I'm ever so grateful" also spring to mind, as well as "I wonder if people will believe I didn't bribe Bons to accept my singing for the competition, given the standard set by you."

Since Stacey isn't listed with a song(Ohh! Why not?)I am not so surprised, but Talindra is.

The overlap between loiterers in the inn and available performers wasn't meant to be 100%. The idea is that there are even more competitors involved in this thing than we could possibly show you for reasons of time and budget. So you don't see Amaryllis or Stacy perform, and Talindra and the Akai twins aren't in the bar, etc.

Yeah, I'm not sure we have enough money to pay Sim to sing again. :)

If Stacey sings, I will insist that it be a freestyle rap battle. Anyone ever heard The Streets?

Put off? :)

Thanks, Eral! :)  I really didn't like the recording, so it's nice to hear something positive about it :)
Yours is wonderful to listen to.

I sent mine in because I thought Bons might need someone to lose the competition. I feel like I need to revoice Prudence and make her sound far more confused. ;D

Yes, wonderful stuff. After years of rebellion against voiced mods, I surrendered overwhelmed by the  beauty of thePan-Amn competiton. ;)

Yes. The bard segments really are things of beauty.

By contrast, has anybody NOT groaned and/or made backhanding motions when Jasper shows up?

I didn't!

I love Jasper. He's right up there with some of the other more (in)famous characters I enjoy.

Well, I would have preferred the other set of tights. ;) Good job all around and it is great that you can skip performances, if you have been there more than a couple of times.
