Adding custom items

How does one add custom made items into a game. I am getting ready to play BG2:SoA/ToB. Thanks for the help. I am wanting to try out what I modified.

Well if you just want to test your custom items you can CLUA them in or use Shadow Keeper. If you don't want "cheat" them in you can make a shop or place the item on a creature you are sure you are going to kill. I don't know how to make a shop but I am fairly surtain that there is a tutorial somewhere or you could ask the nice people here at PPG for a bit of help with the shop making
