Extracting .WAV files from .SPL files
« on: October 04, 2013, 05:15:32 AM »
I wish to extract the spell casting sounds from the .SPL files because I want to create custom Windows sound schemes (personal use only). Is there a tutorial that will explain how(if) this can be done? Or is there anyone here who will tell me how? I have NI and DLTCEP. Any help appreciated.

In NI you select the WAV folder in the left-hand tree, click on the WAV file you wish to export and click the Export button.

If you don't know which files you wish to export, but know where they are used, like in your spell example, you can find the spell file (SPL) you want, switch to the Edit tab, select the casting sound, click View/Edit and then click Export.
