Sing a song of six pence
« on: October 21, 2004, 07:29:37 AM »
So in an effort for PPG members to get to know each other a little bit more, I offer the following question for those who are interested in answering. :)

Which song describes you best or for those that aren't certain, what is you favorite song?

I'll start... Silent Lucidity by Queensryche
Beware the evil behind the smiling eyes...

I imagine this thread will have as much as honesty as a "stat yourself for D&D" thread.  People just can't analyse themselves, so in an attempt to derail this thread into just another music thread, I will list my favourite three songs (since who can choose just one?). :)

Metallica - The Outlaw Torn
Baldur's Gate 2 - Shadows of Amn Theme
Zubot and Dawson - Spider Season

Not necessarily in that order.

I agree with Ghreyfain in that I have idea as to what song best describes me so here are my three favourite songs:

Arcturus - The Chaos Path
Emperor - The Loss and Curse of Reverence
Darkthrone - Transilvanian Hunger

I'll just list a few of my favourites as well. I think i've identified with some of them at some point in my life, if not now. All good songs though!

1000 Miles Per Hour - OK Go
Unrequited Orchestra of Locomotion - OK Go
You're On the Edge - Rooney
The Dark of the Matinee - Franz Ferdinand

I like a lot of newer bands. ;D

Face Up and Sing by Ani Difranco probably describes me best.

Favorite song, on the other hand, forget it. I've got too many.

I'm waiting for someone to announce that King Missile's "Detachable Penis" is their theme song.  :)

What's Next? by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is one I like a lot, and my friends say fits me.

So even if you're one of those people who doesn't pay much attention to what others have said, I'd urge you to listen to it. Or pretty much anything by BBVD, actually.
