Don't forget to add the ability to use a bag of bones... with attendant skeleton legions.

Would you mind explaining what a bag of bones is? :)

Bag of bones: Allows the holder to summon a legion(for game purposes, 30+ should be ok, but you need a fast processor to show so many) of skeletons to do his bidding. Skeletons are neutral undead, don't attack without orders, have no brains.

One of the early books coming from the 2nd ed. set. Forget the name, ask NiGHTMARE, he'll set you straight on this. Extra: Skeletons only usable till sundown, as this happens they crumble to dust.

Echon: If you're doing this the p-n-p way, does that mean you're going to readjust all the magical items(Because a huge number of them have the wrong effects, and really adding their effects in would spoil the ALMIGHTY game balance)?
Or is that a function of the Refinements mod?

FotD is a BG mod, Refinements is for BG2.

If a magical item in BG:TotSC does exist in P&P and it is different there, I do change it unless it would be unbalancing to the game. Generally most magical items remain the same, both permanent and one-use items.

Wow! That's one great mod! I wanted to ask about "Tutu - hopefully" does it mean you're working on the tutu version or is it just a thought for the future? Has it been tested with tutu?

It has not been tested with Tutu yet as the Fixpack will overwrite changes in the mod. If the Fixpack was changed, it is likely that the mod will work with Tutu.

Are you absolutely certain Tutufix overwrites stuff? I'd have thought the Tutu coding gurus would have made it append to things instead.

I am guessing Tutufix changes some files in a less PnP sort of manner, so that's why it might be incompatible.

We should really have made it append to things, but while I can't speak for Ghrey, I was shockingly, shockingly lazy when I coded Tutufix. Sorry.

I don't remember anything about anything I've coded, so for this one I'm just going to shrug.

In that case Ghrey did everything that doesn't work.

Well...For poor ignorants like me, what does all this mean ? Having coded it "lazily" and not using "append"...I am so worried... :-\

It means that they copy over whole files instead of changing certain values in them.

Understood...But then, this process is convertable, am I right ? I mean...It's still possible to build TuTufix by "appending" instead of "overwriting" files then. Although it's likely implying a huge amount of work, I presume...

Hello Echon!

I am going through the Fields of the Dead and I have one thing to report and one other to ask.

I am using Dudelyfixes and Dudley had run some nice fix to Firebead Elvenhair so that he would no longer cast a clerical Protection from Evil but Firebead's Contingency which in fact should be a special spell that protects you the whole day.

I noticed that Fields of the Dead overwrites this and I am wondering if you couldn't perhaps adapt it so that Dudelyville's fix in this case won't be lost.

The question instead is this: have I become senile or at the Friendly Arm Inn I used to find an Icon to identify objects ? Now it disappeared from both the Bentley's services (Inn and Temple)... EDIT: I realize this was an intentional and welcomed choice of yours. I have always wondered how normal stores could identify items not being mages. Very well done...

Not at the moment. Besides, I plan to change the spell Firebead casts to something which will actually protect the PC against a spell which does not cheat and which is actually available to the NPC casting it.
