How does everyone else feel about Nalia's voice being changed in a new mod?

Maybe I'm in the minority, or in the majority, but I have been thru BGII several times now and have grown rather fond of Nalia's voice the way it currently is.  I guess its gotten to the point that I would rather not have Nalia's new lines voiced over as all her lines would have to be voiced over, creating the perception of a new Nalia persona that might be difficult to get used to.  Again, I don't know how everyone feels about this, but just curious.

In case anyone is wondering, the voice actress who voiced Nalia's lines is the same one who voiced Viconia's lines.  Out of curiosity, I looked up Grey Delisle's website and she is a pretty busy voice actress who has worked in a number of well-recognized films.

I know how I feel about publishing an unvoiced romance mod when I don't have to, and the answer is "not good."

My opinion is that as long as it's not Jason's voice replacing Nalia's, we'll be okay.  ;D

Not if I want to keep my voice actress motivated, it isn't.

It will be relatively trivial for players to remove the new WAVs from override, however.

Could we have some clips at some point?  I know there are a couple in Kelsey IIRC but something romancey would be nice and it might kill the 'are we nearly there yets?' for a little while...

It's unclear that Blue's going to be available for this, so there will entirely likely be a new actress, and yes, when available and appropriate you'll have your previews. :)

We have 3 voice options.

1# No voice
2# redo all her voice acting.
3# only do voice acting for the new dialog.

The problem with only doing it for the new stuff is she then has two voices. Which can be kind of stupid.

If the divine interferes maybe MAYBE you'll get lucky enougth to find someone who can impersonante her voice.

*Phew* That would be just as naive as expecting people to read the README!!! As MR C. is a specialist in providing seamless integration down to the last '...', I am sure the new solution will please.

I guess I dont expect the new mod to have no voiceover, but it would be nice if you could give us instructions on how to manually delete the new voiceover files, and still have the mod work correctly.

To me it depends on the mod as a whole, so I won't be able to decide until I've experienced it.

I'm a big fan of Nalia's voice too, but a new voice for it all would sound great too I reckon. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been looking forward to this mod for a long time

If people don't like the idea of having Nalia's voice changed, they could of course not download the mod, leaving her in her Bioware and unromanceable glory

Personaly, as long as the voicing isn't god-awful, I will be satisfied, as I'm sure JC's writtign will mroe than make up for any inadequacies.

I think a new voice would be cool - great idea - you guys rock - it gives the game a "fresh" feeling (which is the point of a mod to some degree) - if you don't want the voice changed, either don't install the mod or just go in and take out the wav's like the man said.

Did I mention before that you moddin' folks rock?  That you're cool?  Well, if I haven't, here I am mentioning it.  Thanks for all the work and I thoroughly enjoy it.
