When he shows up, does he show up as an enemy? Or, has he always shown up as such because Bodhi instantly dominates him? I can never tell.

Also, does he have anything to say, or is he just another enemy in the Lair?

He's the arch enemy of Drizzt in the novels. They should have a few lines of banter when they see each other, and Artemis should go for Drizzt first.

I'll have to try that scene again, then.  He just attacked when we arrived.  I think Bodhi may have slapped a spell on him.

She's not supposed to... They're not coded as enemies to each other, AFAIK...

since Drizzt gets all his own equipment would it be to much trouble to give Artemis Entreri "Charons claw" for when he shows up in Bodhi's lair in the next U.B. upgrade? please?

Bioware had only planned to give him his dagger, though...

They didn't get his proficiencies right, among other things.

Well, they made Montolio a dual-wielder, so...

Charons claw has no official stats, mind you. Salvatore made it clear that he would never give any stats for it.

Besides, Entreri doesnt even use it anymore that I know of. Its one of those things they subtly took away, hoping no one would notice.

As for Montolio, Bioware was following the "All rangers dual wield" line of thinking. Montolio was a ranger, therefore he could dual wield. At the very least, he already had the capacity to dual wield (from being a ranger), but his cloak made him do it... better.

All rangers dual-wield--because of Drizzt.  As a 1ed ranger, Montolio didn't dual-wield, and was taken aback to see that Drizzt did (because it was a drow style, not a ranger style).  His comment was that he didn't see how it would work without Drizzt getting tangled up in the blades.

Well, is UB about changing our perceptions of rangers? Will Montolios cloak be changed to something else? Doubtful.

Bah. Change the name if you feel compelled to not call it Montolios cloak.

I'd be opposed to UB making any changes to Montolio's cloak--or worrying overmuch about what proficiencies and/or equipment Entreri has in P&P.

IIRC the book where Artemis gets charons claw, "Servant of the Shard" came out after SoA, so bioware didnt make a mistake.

Just got to that scene in the game. Got to play the entry into Bodhi's den several times as I'm not very good against the undead.  Artemis never said anything. Drizzt was with us--I double-checked to make sure that he was one of the blue circles.

So, at the moment, he appears to be just another enemy in a crowded room.
