One big thing that seems to have been missed so far by official developers and unofficial ones: The MASSIVE Gith fight when you don't return the Vorpal bit.
Giths USUALLY send 40 OR MORE githyanki to get the vorpal blade back.(2E DMG, probably explained further in Planescape books, but I don't have many.)
Now you know why we need powergaming...no way to survive that encounter!
They only gave you 6 in the original Normal Setting game.

But you could also argue that some of them died in the attack on Saemon's ship (drowned, eaten by Sahuagin), etc.
Sure sounds like a tough melee fight though, and sure to slow down computers well.
Think Throne of Bhaal, 1st challenge but with supertough magic-casting goblins...

The ones you fight in Athkatla are a different group from the ones from the ship. You fight the ones from the ship in the Underdark.

Still, the idea of a massive gith fight sounds like a fine idea. Its certainly not Unfinished Business, though.

Try saying something on the Tactics board (its one of the Weimer ones)

I've always been meaning to suggest my Improved Suna Seni and Improved Warden to Weimer  ;D

It seems Moonfruit is reviving production on Improved Battles at FW.  You could probably send them to him for inclusion.

I just found an interesting reference in Dialog.tlk, referring to the player character showing up in Hell alone (SoA, of course).  Now, I've never had that happen to me, but since it's there, it seems an interesting ... also a reference to (Minsc is charmed by the dryads and will not speak to you.  You shall have to agree to help them if you want Minsc back).  Erm, is this referring to the dryads in Chateau Irenicus?  Or some other group of dryads?  Is this being implemented?

One final thing: I'da thought you guys woulda put priority on the skindancers/Twisted Rune/Guarded Compound, as that story arc seems the most obviously Unfinished piece of Business in the game to me.  Is it just too difficult or too much work?  I couldn't imagine it would be any more work than, say, the Missing Boo quest.  Plus, I really wanted to know the connection between those events ... by the way who's Carston?

Carston is the machine mage in Watcher's Keep - you can't miss him.

What exactly is missing in the Twisted Rune scenarios?
They're supposed to be a) secret and b) competent, so why would everything be laid out before the player?
Man's Mystery
Man is mortal, and doomed to death and failure and loss.
This lies beyond our comprehension - why do you not despair?

The original plan was that your party members wouldn't follow you in Hell unless they had been hurt badly enough in the fight against Irenicus. I suggested restoring this, but there wasn't much interest.

Apparently, this does take place if you refuse to help the dryads and have Minsc with you, but I could never get it to work...

He means the whole implication with the Slavers, skin dancers, etc. (Confirmed by Bioware to be one of the largest cut quests in BG2)

Yes indeedy, and I was quite surprised the UB team didnt see this as priority.  It must be one of the largest subplots that was completely axed, and I for one was sorry to see it go.  I'm sure we could get it up and running again if we wanted to ... but it doesn't seem to be on anybody's agenda right now.

By the way, is the UB team going to implement Keldorn's missing quest?  I found more Dialog.tlk references to some dude (forgot his name) who was apparently a member of the same Order that Keldorn is, but Keldorn turned him in for accepting bribes, or somesuch.  You brought back Suna Seni, why not bring back this dude?

This is pure hearsay, but I heard from somewhere, I think, that the dudes who buried that guy in the graveyard had a larger quest attached to it, but that it was axed asl well?  Was the buried to be used by the Twisted Rune, to turn into Skin Dancers, or something?  I guess we'll never really know  :(.  Unless UB tells us  ;D.

It's been on the to-do list right from day one... And it is a priority, which is why we don't want to do hasty work on this one  :)

Vakola (already mentionned by David Gaider as "Keldorn's old friend") is on the list too.

Reti was supposed to come back as part of the Minor Villains encounter (his line is still in his dialog file).
