Problem with getting Ease of Use reinstalled.

I am totally new to this forum and this is my first post.  Please bear with me.  I had Ease of Use installed in my BGII SOA TOB game and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I had to remove and reinstall the games and now everything is wacky.  I can stack ammo, but not potions except for TOB potions.  Xcap removal is gone.  i get four or five icons on my desktop, but they will not reinstall.  I really would like to get my games back the way they were before removing and reinstalling.  Newbie question I know, but any help would be greatly appreciated.  Or please tell me where to go to get help.

If you unistalled BG2 but didn't uninstall also ease of use before uninstallign BG2, then you need to delete:
bg2\weidu.log
bg2\ease\unistall\*.* (but leave there the directory!)
