Just thought I'd mention this.

A bug is fixed in WeiDU v. 130 that applies the Multi-Stronghold patch correctly.  Uninstall the mod, update weidu, and re-install the mod to get the fix.

No, it's the REPLACE with WEIGHTs fix.  It's actually in WeiDU-129 (and later), I was just being a bit lazy in my post.

BTW, I found the weights bug while I was trying to debug the Multi-Stronghold mod.  I was looking at the .DLG files before and after applying the patches.

Does WeiDU have a regression test target?  We could come up with a few simple tests to make sure these features work.

Sorry in advance for the maybe silly questions.
I may seem dumb... please do as if I actually were  ;)
(Better be safe than sorry...)

I just downloaded the latest (21) version of Ease of Use.
What I should do now?

- Do I really need to update weidu? Won't SETUP-EaseOfUse do it automatically when I run it?
- Do I really need to uninstall the previous version of the mod? Won't the "reinstall" option of the SETUP do it automatically?
- Whatever the answer, my next question is very likely to be "can you please tell me why, too?"

Forgive me, but I'm really quite a bit confused.
I never managed to figure out how this "reinstall" thingy exactly works!

You should definitely uninstall the old mod first.  The reason is that your backup files are in the old mods backup directory.  This might not be a problem, but it's best to be safe.  There's also the possibility the a component was dropped or renamed and you would want to remove it first before updating.

The Ease-of-Use mod (and all other WeiDU mods) use weidu.exe.  That is, weidu.exe is renamed to Setup-somemod.exe.  This is probably not neccesary, but if you want to you can download the latest version of weidu and use weidu.exe instead of Setup-mymod.exe.

I don't think this is neccesary for Ease-of-Use v21, but as a practice you could always install the latest version of weidu somewhere and run it like this:

weidu.exe Setup-somemod.tp2
