Ease of use possible bug?

Myself and one of my friends started a game on LAN w/ BG2SoA and the latest patch w/ Ease of Use mod. When we entered the windspear hills and after we killed the knights and followed the guy to his house and tried to talk to him it wouldnt initiate dialogue.So,we tried an earlier saved game and played all the way to the same place and it still happened:/Then I reinstalled the game and patch w/out Ease of Use and it worked.Then,just to make sure I installed Ease of Use again and sure enough,all it said was "This person has nothing to say to you."So,we're playing w/out Ease of Use now.Can anyone help me?Please? :blink:

I've also had said problem, the solution was uninstalling the multiple strongholds component.
