Whoo! I'm in the middle of playing through the Solaufein mod for the first time. I've wound up laughing 'til I cried over some of the dialogue (Eclipse party, Imoen doing her best Sola imitation...). And then there's been other parts where I *expected* Sola dialogue, and didn't get it. If there's an upgrade somewhere I missed, prease to point me in the correct direction?
a) Sendai. Here we have Drow classic, as it were. Wouldn't Sola try to talk her out of becoming Bhaalspawn appetizer? There was that bit with the Balthazar (I assume) overture being rejected, after all; could be she's a little shy on allies, particularly seeing as how we'd just waltzed through and killed most of her slaves... For that matter, on the first iteration through the fake woodcutter sequence, shouldn't the woodcutter mention something about Sola (or Viconia, for that matter) when commenting on the 'strange' elves? Perhaps drow in the party should have some chance at recognizing the fake woodcutter for what he is?
B) Pocket plane, after the second challenge. The room changes to this little oasis with palm trees and water that heals you if you step in it. I've been wondering for a while now why nobody you're in a romance with picks up on this opportunity. Pocket plane spa & resort, anyone?
c) Eclipse party. Somehow what with all the tongue-in-cheek remarks being made, I'd have figured Sola for having an apropos verse for the situation. Or something. Did I miss a dialogue path?
d) Watcher's Keep, with the annoying imp asking riddles. In the event that Sola has a higher INT than the character, what's stopping him from chiming in? He's fond of logic puzzles... (With the "all X are Y == !Y implies !X" discussion, I rather wanted to wander off into theory of knowledge and the uncertainty inherent in experiential evidence, but if there were more of that sort of thing floating around I suspect we'd need 'character falls asleep' type responses in the response tree.)
There's others, but those are the ones that are on my mind at the moment.
