Title: Bugs and typos for v1
Post by: Kulyok on August 08, 2013, 12:13:55 AM
Please, report them here, so that I don't lose track of them.

Report #1: For some reason, the mod extracted OSX_Brynnlaw directory to the BG2 folder, too. I've corrected it on-site - new downloads won't have this issue.

Changes to be released:

Edited a typo in the mod's name: Back of Brynnlaw mod for Baldur's Gate II -> Back to Brynnlaw mod for Baldur's Gate II.
The player is able to view all cutscenes correctly, from Player1's point of view.
Edited XP value for some of the Cowled Enforcers.
Some of the Cowled Enforcers no longer stand idly: AI script change for all WIZSPE, WIZSLA and BRYCW1.
In some of the installations, Sion is no longer hostile, and one of the wizards in Perth's house is no longer neutral: edited allegiance for HLSION, HLKETTA, one of BRYCW's.

I have just completed Back To Brynnlaw and before i get to the things i noticed, let me say that i liked the mod and i liked the story line. Thank you for creating it.

In the house that used to have Perth the Adept, upon entering i was confronted by 4 Cowled Enforcers. After the dialogue 3 of the  Enforcers blue circles turned to red. After i took care of them i hit the one still blue with my fist and nothing changed. His circle  never turned red. He was the one at the top of the screen.
In the store Sion had a red circle. I never tried to talk with him because i wasn't sure if i needed them later and didn't know what would happen. As it was i didn't, but i never went back.
The final cut scene with Roslin while he cured Dora, for me was off the screen. When i battled Berlin i retreated up to the top of the area, casting every spell i had to take down his defenses. When he was dead Roslin approached with his proposal and teleported everyone into the laboratory. Except the screen never moved. It was still centered on the top of the area. It centered on the people only when they taked, otherwise it never centered on the laboratory. I never saw whatever it was that Roslin did to Dora.
There was an oddity with the XP's given for killing the Enforcers. Most of them gave 4000 per, but there seemed to be one that only gave 120 XP's. I really can't remember which one it was, but i think it was a Cowled Wizard or something. There was one different. That was the one. There was more then one of these groups.
     I hope this helps.

Thank you for the report! I'll fix the MoveViewObject in the cutscene and look into the XP for the Cowled Wizards.

Can you please give me your weidu.log? Only three enforcers are supposed to be in Perth's home and Sion isn't supposed to be an enemy(oh, when I find the mod that did that!..).

I've fixed all these issues for v2(or at least I think so), but before uploading it, I think I'd still want to see whatever might've caused the issue with Sion/that non-hostile fourth Cowled Wizard, so a Weidu.log would be great.

EDIT: Also, if you've got a save from before you started the mod, or at any point in the mod, that'd be great, too. My e-mail is kulyok,

Thank you for your Weidu.log!

Folks, I'm going to do the update over the next few days. IF you had any issues with Back to Brynnlaw v1, please, send me your weidu.logs and saved games, and I'll fix these issues.

Changes made, version updated. You'll probably be fine with v1, but v2 is just a little bit prettier with these enhancements.
