Title: Which mod???

there is some quest mod that (probably) makes it impossible for me to start a new SoA game (trilogy) and instead starts a new BG1 game BUT with replaced, nonsensical game text

which mod is this so that I can deinstall that crap and send the author hatemail?  >:(

(just noticed the starting char is still level 7 like in BG2 so there's some obvious fuckup involved)

quick answer needed!

First, "???", "crap", and "hate mail" isn't going to net you a quick answer. (Yes, I got up with a toothache, headache and the wrong foot).

Anyway, nonsensical game text means your dialog.tlk gets scrambled. Get a full reinstall. A new BG1 game means you've either installed something like tutu/bgtrilogy, or a total conversion(someting like several hundred mb big and with a readme which says it replaces the whole game). Read each mod's readme before installing it, install it one by one mannually(don't install two mods at once), and you'll probably be fine.

ok, I see. next time I'm looking for answers I visit spellhold studios, where people are helpful and you actually get coherent answers
