Title: Imoen takes a hike (Modded BG2)
Post by: LTD on July 29, 2010, 12:01:30 PM
Hello!

I'm currently playing through rather modded version of Shadows of Amn. I have assassinations, Unfinished Business, Solaufein, Virtue, Xan and few  more mods installed. Details are shady at best; I installed BGs and (highly lovely) pocket plane/G3 mods some 18 months back so much has been forgotten.

I just left Underdark and it turns out I'm having increasing amount of difficulties in keeping Neutral/Good people in my party.
My party is as follows:
PC (Chaotic evil thanks to the  virtue)
Imoen
Haer'Dalis
Viconia
Xan(Mod)
Solaufein(Mod)
i'm bad guy with low Rep!

As it is now, Imoen instantly leaves my party even after lifting my rep up to Neutral. She tells me I can find her in Copper Coronet. I head there,m ask her to join me, she insta leaves, Bit of a drag.

My question is, as follows:
Is there a safe way to alter the reputation of Imoen, Solaufein and Haer'Dalis without breaking something?
Both save game edit that turns their reputation to evil and adding in game item(s) achieving the same would be fine with me. I only worry of breaking something and turning my game unstable.

Any and all advice much appreciated!

She shouldn't leave. Check if you have Virtue mod. If you don't have it in your log, I recommend restoring a quick backup:

The order in which you install mods is very important, or they can screw each other up. Virtue is ALWAYS installed dead last.

Thanks for the advice guys. Luckily I somehow managed to bypass the issue. Windspear Hills was where Imoen's departure always kept getting triggered. Simply avoiding the zone for a while was all it took. Strangely issue had fixed itself later on; I was eventualy able to bash my way through the hills without Imoen getting overly emo.
